STUNNINGLY bred filly from one of the best families in JAPAN that screams OAKS

We are delighted to pick-up this beautifully bred filly out of multiple Group 1 winning stallion THE AUTUMN SUN and by a 3/4 sister to CHAMPION JAPANESE STALLION, KING KAMEHAMEHA.

Her sire THE AUTUMN SUN was one of the most exciting horses on the racetrack in the last decade. A multiple Group 1 winner, he won the GROUP 1 JJ Atkins at 2 and picked up 4 x GROUP 1s as a 3-year-old, the Golden Rose, Caulfield Guineas, Randwick Guineas and Rosehill Guineas. His first yearlings have averaged just over $300,000 so to pick up this filly with such a stunning page for $40,000 fall of hammer, we are thrilled.

Yes, her sire was one of the best recent horses we’ve seen on the track and making big statements in the stallion game, but what excited us most about this filly was her dam side. Out of DEEP IMPACT mare TRAVESSIA, a 3/4 sister to CHAMPION JAPANESE stallion KING KAMEHAMEHA, winner of 7 races included multiple LISTED victories over 1600m-2400m and SIRE of LORD KANALOA. Her page is filled with all quality from an outstanding JAPANESE family, arguably the best racing jurisdiction in the world. Our filly is bred on the same cross as multiple GROUP 1 performers in FUNDAMENTALIST and RELOADED.

We have used our unique ability as a syndicator that can really dive deep into the data and figures on the family. Her dam TRAVESSIA has produced 4 to race with 3 winners and have all run in the city, running good city times. With the quality of figures in recent times in Oaks lead-in races and the Oaks themselves, we will aim our filly at going down that path and on type and breeding we think she has what it takes.

Our stunning filly will head to exciting trainer Annabel Neasham who will give her every possible chance to get to the level we see her getting to. Annabel has had huge success in her short time as a trainer with the likes of ZAAKI, MO’UNGA, SWISS EXILE and many more. Our filly is now in Queensland for the winter, enjoying the sun on her back and giving her every possible chance to grow and furnish. She will be broken in up in Queensland and join the Annabel Neasham Racing system there.
