We have purchased a stunning colt out of MAURICE who stands for $82,500 at Arrowfield Stud and we managed to snap him up for $30,000 hammer price. This colt will head to leading trainer ANNABEL NEASHAM who has been a huge success in her short career with horses like ZAAKI, MO’UNGA, SWISS EXILE and plenty more.

His sire MAURICE is taking Australia by storm, a multiple Group 1 winner in JAPAN and HONG KONG on the track, he is currently the LEADING second season sire in AUSTRALIA. From his first crop he has had Group 1 sprinting star and Everest contender MAZU as well as multiple Group 1 winning Derby winner HITOTSU. As mentioned above, MAURICE stands for $82,500 and has a full book this year making the $30,000 hammer price we paid for this colt an absolute steal. Yearlings by MAURICE averaged nearly $200,000 this sales season and with his continued success on the track only looks like growing!

Out of ALL TOO HARD mare MISS BILLIONAIRE, a half-sister to Multiple Group 1 winning sprinter GREEN BIRDIE that won 6 races and secured $3 million in prize-money. From the same family as Group 1 Chipping Norton winner CASINO PRINCE, Golden Slipper 2nd place-getter BEST OF BORDEAUX and Group 1 JJ Atkins winner PRINCE FAWAZ. Our trainer Annabel Neasham spent $450,000 on a Snitzel filly out of a half-sister to our colts dam earlier this year!

Our colt will head to the breakers now and be entered into the Annabel Neasham system in Queensland. He is BOBS Eligible and with being in the Annabel Neasham racing system can easily be between QLD and NSW to get that great prize-money. Our colt had a clean scope, a clean vet and he looks a ready-made racehorse that will be a lot of fun for his owners.
